New Toshiba Flat Screen TV and PS2 Problems?
Hello, I recently bought a new Toshiba (model 32AV502R) and am having problems with it.
I’ve set up my PS2 to it and got it running perfectly fine, but the image of the game (which is what this TV is going to be used mostly for) is very unclear, blurry, and unfocused (even at the original non stretched side). I’ve tried looking through the manual and playing with settings but I can’t seem to figure this one out.
Any help is appreciated.
Nevermind, bought a hi-def cord for my PS2 and it looks AMAZING! No worries anymore 
The picture is crappy because your PS2 is a Standard Definition game console while your TV is a High Definition TV! It doesn’t matter what you do, it’s not going to improve the pic quality! The TV has to ‘Upscale’ the PS2’s lower resolution up to the TV’s native resolution.
Only the PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii are High Definition game consoles! I highly recommend upgrading to one of these consoles if you want a better pic quality!
