If time is descrete, or not…then..?

what is your view on this:
If time were analogous (ie: then you could slow down time for an eternity without ever reaching a point where time ceases to flow completly)
if so, then this implies (or states) that all motion is “infinitely” fast (or slow, how ever you like it) to cover any distance, no matter how large or small.

And if any motion is infinitely swift
then this implies (or states) that any distance is infinitely great.
so your computer monitor is infinate distance from you, and it will take an eternity to move your first finger to begin a response.
time, like the wind, goes a hurrying by… :)

perhaps to answer my own question, the fact that its ‘both’ infinitely ‘fast and slow’ simultaneously renders it to a medium or average which becomes what we call “actuall” etc.
oh well, God is truly beautifull.

being human (seriously),
my perception is limited, so maybe someone could correct or clarify this logic to me.

thanks in advance

Have you ever sat down and given a thought as to what ‘Time’ really is?

As far as we know, time was something mankind invented to measure everything on it’s life. But what does it truly measure? Change of events. Ever heard of ‘plank lenght’? It’s the samllest length possible before everything we know about physics goes horribly bad.

If we cannot measure anything shorter than Planck Length, then we can’t measure the time it would take for something to travel a distance less than a Planck Lenght. Light is the fastest thing possible, and the time it takes for light to travel the Planck Lenght is called ‘Plank Time’. Any time shorter than that is simply not possible

So our current knowledge states that time is discrete, with a period of Planck Time. Distance is not infinitely great, and to move your finger accross the keyboard takes 1.855×1043 Planck times (about 1 second)

Could time be analogous? I don’t know, if it is, prove it to me.
