monitor not getting signal from computer?
when i switch my computer and monitor on,my monitor stays on standby and doesn’t pick up a signal. I’m pretty sure this isn’t a monitor problem as I’ve tried it with another monitor and still the same problem
I’ve tried taking all usb cables out of the back and leaving just the power and the monitor leads to see if it was to do with a faulty connection elsewhere. but it still doesn’t work.
I’ve asked before, but get stupid answers that tell me to check the drivers or the BIOS or whatever when i haven’t even got a screen to check them on because my monitor wont come out of standby!
Check to see if there are more than one profile for the output device (i.e. monitors)
Check the video card /device for problems.
if you right click on your desktop, under the menu look for properties, then click on that, then under settings… you should see options for more than one output device, like monitor one, monitor two etc…
